About the role

Overview

The Microsoft AI Monetization team plays a pivotal role in shaping how Microsoft generates value from its AI innovations, particularly through products like Copilot, Bing, Edge, and Microsoft Advertising. This cross-functional organization is responsible for driving new monetization opportunities, business growth, and pioneering bold bets in AI-driven experiences.

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Technical Program Manager to drive critical monetization initiatives for our Commerce Org. This execution-focused role requires a seasoned leader who can orchestrate complex, cross-organizational programs involving multiple CVPs, finance partners, product, and engineering teams to unlock new revenue opportunities while delivering exceptional user experiences. You have excellent communication skills, prefer hands-on execution, and desire to work in ambiguous situations that often require 0 to 1 lift. Monetization, consumer or commerce experience is highly valued.

As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Commerce, you will support strategy and lead execution to turn user intent into trusted commercial outcomes. Commerce is evolving from transactions and billing systems into an orchestration layer where agents can discover businesses, negotiate and complete commercial actions, and measure outcomes end to end. You will drive initiatives that make businesses invocable and agentready, spanning discovery, business verification, transaction flows, and outcome telemetry, while delivering reliable, compliant, and scalable commerce experiences across surfaces and scenarios.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
