DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will provide execution Maintenance/Technical expertise to ensure process and equipment reliability and meet the business goals of AM/NS Calvert.
The Basics:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated mechanical maintenance repair experience
- Demonstrated experience with proper use of mechanical and electrical hand tools, as well as test equipment
The Extras:
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- 3 years heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience preferred
- Experience in interpreting drawings and/or schemiatics
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
- Experience in balancing and alignment
- Multi-craft skills with strong preference for mechanical, lubrication, pipefitting, and welding skills

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance service during planned outages including machine setup and troubleshooting
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, as needed
- Perform maintenance including, but not limited to, mechanical, welding, pipefitting, lubrication, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, repair of work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and drawings as needed
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with team and company policies and procedures
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules
- Practice good housekeeping
- Perform equipment repairs on production equipment following provided procedures and/or trade best practices
- Prep and kit parts and materials for planned outages
- Inspect, adjust, clean or lubricate equipment as preventive
- maintenance
- Tear down, replace, repair, install and assemble equipment parts, components, and accessories.
- Follow SAP work instructions and provide feedback to asset planners of changes as required.
- Provide input to development of work instructions related to areas of trade specialty as requested
- Assist other maintenance employees with repairs and housekeeping as needed
