JOB SUMMARY
The Student Tutor applicant must demonstrate superior competence in writing and reading skills and must maintain a GPA of 3.8 prior to and during the tenure of tutoring at the Writing Center.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
One to one peer tutoring and counseling. Serves as a resource person to help other students academically.
FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
NO -- Federal Work Study eligibility not required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent writing and reading skills, problem solving skills, level of responsibility, ability to multi-task.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Should be able to identify and explain grammatical issues in writing.
