Your Role:
MilliporeSigma in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Lab Assistant. The Upstream Manufacturing Lab Assistant performs laboratory activities in the manufacturing labs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory tracking, ordering, maintenance, media manufacturing, and cell culture as directed
- Ensure that all required tasks are completed per manufacturing schedule requirements per standard operating procedures (SOPs) involving basic laboratory techniques, calculations, material measurements, operation of laboratory equipment, and record keeping as necessary
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Biology, Biochemistry or other Science field and 1 year of lab experience OR
- High School diploma or GED and 3 years of lab experience in a position which supports performance of required tasks in final production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic laboratory skills including pipetting, measuring, mixing, following SOPs
- More complex laboratory skills such as ELISA, cell culture or IHC experience
- Knowledge of FDA QSRs and ISO 13485 or other related industry standards
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system
- Previous experience in FDA regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment
- Good computer skills including MS 365
- Good organizational and documentation skills
Pay Range for this position - $36,500 - $85,300
Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
