Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Software Engineer to support Report Authoring and Dissemination efforts. This position involves collaborative work with Government leadership and end users, systems engineers, and software engineers to design, develop, install, deploy, operate, and manage systems. The software engineer will support a modernization effort of reporting and dissemination activities.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Shall have familiarity with software development/engineering such as requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Shall have familiarity with developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
• Shall have familiarity with developing software for Microsoft Windows (XP or newer), or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems.
• Shall have familiarity with software integration and software testing.
• Shall understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project.
• Full stack software engineering with strong back-end Java skills and UI experience
• Java Spring Boot
• Vue.js or TypeScript
• RESTful web services
• MongoDB

• Agile software development practices, Jira and Confluence
• Current Agency reporting tools and solutions
• Spring Cloud, Spring Framework
• Docker, Docker Compose, or Docker Swarm
