Staff Accountant

EventLink Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. As Staff Accountant, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Perform routine account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Provide support during audits and regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Respond to accounting inquiries from internal teams

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience:

• 2-4 years of accounting experience

Skills:

• Working knowledge of GAAP and general accounting processes
• Strong proficiency with Excel and accounting systems; knowledge of Python and Macros a plus
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
