We achieve this by leveraging a high degree of automation using infrastructure as a code and gitops practices.</p><p> Our platform engineering team deploys and builds our cloud infrastructure in both public cloud providers (Azure &amp; GCP) and private clouds (OpenStack).</p><p>As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable and reliable platforms. You will act as the bridge between development and infrastructure, utilizing advanced automation tools and cloud technologies to ensure seamless operation. Working closely with DevOps and development teams, your expertise will help in building and managing robust environments.</p> <h3>Your impact and responsibilities</h3> <ul><li><p>Set up and manage Kubernetes environments (K8s, K3s).</p></li><li><p>Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible.</p></li><li><p>Design and implement cloud-native solutions in GCP, Azure, and OpenStack.</p></li><li><p>Work following GitOps principles.</p></li><li><p>Manage and optimize Linux-based platforms.</p></li><li><p>Ensure security, stability, and perform monitoring and logging for the network.</p></li><li><p>Support teams in applying cloud best practices and scalable architectures.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with various stakeholders to translate technical requirements into concrete solutions.</p></li><li><p>Focus on eliminating toil. Manual repetitive tasks need to be identified and eliminated. </p></li><li><p>Learns company processes and practices, technology used and domain targeted </p></li><li><p>Executes 1st line support troubleshooting activities.</p></li></ul> <h3>Your profile</h3> <ul><li><p>You have <strong>experience working with infrastructure as code tools</strong>, and/or are eager to learn IAC-tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket-Pipelines ).</p></li><li><p>Good/deep understanding of core networking concepts. (e.g. TCP/IP, routing ), application protocols (e.g. DHCP, DNS, HTTPS), load balances, nginx, HAproxy.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience with Linux</strong> administration and scripting.</p></li><li><p><strong>Basic</strong> working experience with major <strong>GIT operations (e.g. push, pull, branches).</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Conceptual understanding of containerization &amp; orchestration.
