POSITION SUMMARY:
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Healthcare Billing Associate to work in our Enterprise Reimbursement Services office in our state of the art facility in Pennsauken, NJ. This role is currently remote with the expectation that you will go into the Pennsauken office in late 2021. However, this will be a flexible work environment. This is an in-office position. Qualified candidates must be able to work in our Pennsauken, NJ office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree preferred (combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of degree)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with Healthcare billing/accounts receivable experience
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated record of goal achievement.
- Prior health care and home care experience is a plus.
- Competence in basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way
- Complete invoice/claim review to ensure accuracy of billing.
- Process billing adjustments and corrected claims to ensure accurate billing for rendered services.
- Manage claim rejections and/or errors within a complete and expeditious manner to ensure timely payment.
- Identify system enhancements within electronic medical records and/or claim clearinghouse solutions to prevent rejections, errors and denials and promote clean claim processes.
- Manage and/or communicate necessary payor source/charge table changes.
- Track, communicate and manage unbilled claims that require support from other revenue cycle areas to ensure complete/compliant bill submission.
- Communicate and escalate accounts receivable trends with immediate supervisor, director and management teams to ensure timely and compliant payment for services.
- Review, document and communicate any claim processing or related changes initiated by payor organizations.
- Work within multiple practice management systems, claim clearinghouse solutions and payor websites to conduct research and complete necessary workflow.
