QC Analyst - QC Materials (1st shift)

Regeneron is currently looking for a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join our QC Materials team with a focus on reference standards and new modalities. This is a lab-based position with a 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm schedule. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. Our QC Analysts are ensuring that all manufactured materials tested, in our laboratory, contract laboratories, and our partner’s laboratories, are compared to a highly characterized, well maintained, “gold” standard and are held to the highest level of quality. QC analysts perform all vital tasks for the sourcing, filling, qualification, implementation, and maintenance of all Regeneron product reference standards.  

As a Quality Control Analyst, a typical day might include the following: 

• Performing inventory activities monthly which would include accessing the areas where reference standard is stored, manipulating reference standard freezer racks (roughly 15-20lbs) maintained in upright -80C freezers. 

• Performing manual counting of the reference standard vials. 

• Performing reference standard fills in the QC laboratories including, pulling material for the fill, thawing the frozen material, working in a Biological Safety Cabinet or Laminar Flow Hood for the active filling of vials, and/or by taking an account of filled vials and moving them to their final storage locations. 

• Attending CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing Compliance) program meetings and representing reference standards in a cross functional capacity. 

• Working on Class D and Class A major/minor changes to implement new reference standards/documentation or to update existing C of Qs and procedures.

• Develop and drive scientific and/or business-related improvement ideas. 

To be considered for the Quality Control Analyst, you must be willing and able to work 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. You must have a BS in Life Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For the various levels you must have the following: 

Associate QC Analyst: BS/BA in Life Sciences, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

QC Analyst: 12-18+ months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
