About the role

Seqera is seeking an Associate Brand Designer with strong visual taste to help build our creative initiatives for all things brand. We expect a broad set of design skills and the ability to create high-quality assets, whether digital or print.

Seqera is a company full of people who know the value of good design. In this role, you will help communicate Seqera’s story — what we're building and why it matters.

While this position reports to the Design Director, you’ll end up collaborating across the company including (but not limited to) folks from the Design, Product, Marketing, and Sales organizations. You’ll find yourself working on everything from our events presence, to sales decks, to our web presence, to fun laptop stickers & swag.

What You'll Do

• You will create and maintain visually stunning designs across a wide variety of media—presentations, web, events, video, and more—with a high attention to detail to effectively communicate key messages

• Ensure all designs—digital or physical—align with the company’s branding and visual identity

• Research and translate intricate concepts into clear, engaging visuals that resonate with the target audience

• Enhance designs with animations, videos, and other interactive elements to maximize audience engagement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Sales, to understand and translate brand requirements

• Revise materials based on feedback, ensuring polished and professional results for final delivery

• Design high-impact visuals for corporate events, product launches, and executive-level meetings

• Stay updated on design trends and incorporate them into brand materials to keep our brand fresh and engaging

About you

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communication Design, Multimedia Design, or related field

• Proven experience working 2+ years as a Brand Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role in a brand team

• Expert proficiency in (but not limited to) the Adobe Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Keynote

• Experience in developing visuals for B2B (business to business) SaaS products or services, and/or B2D (business to developer) products or services

• Capacity to research and precisely translate complex information into visual narratives

• A portfolio showcasing a range of visual taste and proven designs

• Eye for good design and ability to express and strengthen a brand

• Intellectual curiosity—an enjoyment of solving hard problems and understanding the ‘why’ in addition to the right answer

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Motion, video, and animation experience is a plus

• Previous experience working in-house at a fast-growing startup
