Sr Material Control Analyst

Leidos currently has an opening for a Material Control Analyst to work in our Solutions Complex facility in Huntsville, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Advanced Materials Group. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute materials/service acquisitions using CostPoint and collaborate with various stakeholders and process owners throughout organization.
• Create, manage and submit RFQs to suppliers per the ASL
• Add or Reactivate suppliers on the ASL
• Develop and enhance supplier relationships
• Communicate fulfillment status to the internal stake holders and maintain Costpoint updated
• Expedite orders when needed
• Request ROMs, NTE quotes when needed
• Monitor program IMS critical path and focus on deliveries and escalate when needed

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field of study i.e. Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other field. HS Diploma and 4 additional years experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of relevant hands-on work experience requisitioning / purchasing of materials and services for DOD or aerospace centric programs.
• 5+ years hands on experience using CostPoint.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ENG drawings/documents, BOMs, vendor Data sheets.
• Experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• Strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active secret clearance
• 8+ Hands on working experience in DFAR environment.
• AGILE experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00
