Working on the Operations Department

We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations at our Tampa, FL facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong time management skills, a practical approach to leadership, and a background in food service or restaurant operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics, from managing orders to coordinating team schedules.

A quick heads up: This role is intended to be full-time, but we’ll be starting with a short-term contract as a first step. During this period, benefits won’t be available. We're looking for someone who's ready to jump in now (not balancing other work) and excited about committing to something longer term.

What You’ll Get to Do

• Report to the Senior Director, Operations & Inventory Control.

• Oversee daily operational flow, including food orders, inventory counts, and store readiness.

• Approve time sheets, create and manage team schedules, and ensure adequate coverage.

• Partner closely with the Executive Chef to align kitchen operations with supply and staffing.

• Supervise a small team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations (convenience store or food service-related).

• Load, move, and lift items as needed (up to 50 pounds).

• Monitor stock levels and manage restocking and procurement as needed.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 2–4 years of experience in a leadership role (not necessarily with many direct reports).

• Experience in food service, restaurant, or convenience store operations.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and making real-time decisions.

• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and be on your feet during shifts.

• Clear communicator with strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Located in/near Tampa, FL and able to commute to the Tampa side of the bridge, 5-days per week.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)

The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.

Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
