Position Summary...
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) is seeking a seasoned leader to optimize and elevate the WFS Program Management Office (PMO). This highly motivated change agent will define and build what great looks like for program management so that WFS is able to scale with speed, recruit and develop talented associates to lead complex initiatives, and lead through influence across peers and stakeholders to ensure organizational health.What you'll do...
About the team
The PMO plays a critical role in driving the strategic success of WFS while fostering a thriving organizational culture. This is achieved through a combination of project management, program management, stakeholder engagement, associate engagement, and driving the rhythm of the business.
What You'll Do…
- Own rhythm of business to keep WFS focused on achieving top level objectives, including goal setting and ongoing management, development of program health metrics, and communication strategies to drive alignment and maintain focus.
- Optimize our framework for managing the complex and critical initiatives within WFS that support organizational goals, ensuring we deliver the right projects at the right time.
- Manage culture and engagement across WFS, recognizing that a positive and engaged workforce is crucial for achieving our goals. This work supports new associate onboarding as well as the engagement of tenured associates.
- Develop associates within the PMO to achieve both business results and career aspirations through empathetic leadership.
- Build communication mechanisms to keep peers, stakeholders, and leaders aware of the critical program work within WFS, highlighting successes and risks. Identify key debate or decision points and drive appropriate alignment to resolve.
