Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

ServiceNow is seeking a visionary Director of Product Management to own the end-to-end Developer and Admin focused generative AI experience within the Platform Product team.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally on the overarching trajectory of our “Text-to” GenAI strategy. “Text-to” initiatives span a variety of platform products like application, workflow, code, and analytics. Our customers want the way they work with the Now Platform to be enhanced and augmented by GenAI in a connected and cohesive way. That’s exactly what you’ll be driving in this role, a cohesive experience for our customers by driving strategy to uplevel our Developer and Admin GenAI products.

  • Product Strategy and Vision – Identify significant opportunities to crystallize our differentiation in the market. Understand our customers’ needs and drive a comprehensive experience for customers that is contextually aware and available when and where customers need it. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Owns the product governance across all “Text-to” GenAI initiatives, bringing together stakeholders in a Center of Excellence for standardizing best practices and identifying experiential integration points.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration – Coordinate across many teams including: legal, marketing, ATG, platform, design, and engineering, to solve for challenges with broad impact and address strategic decisions like:
  • Approval to use specific open- or closed-source LLM models like StarCoder2.0 or GPT models
  • Ability to consume customer feedback for model improvement
  • Infrastructure buildouts (additional GPUs and clusters) for model responsiveness and throughput
  • Pricing strategy across products such that all customers can benefit from our “Text-to” GenAI products
  • Improving telemetry for data driven product decision making

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years’ experience in product management leadership roles, with 3-5+ years focused on AI products.
  • Knowledge of and exposure to the latest in AI landscape highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software products and services, including cloud-based platforms, SaaS, and PaaS.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $207,300 - $362,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
