TRISTAR is an Software Product Owner for our upcoming government customer in Bloomington, IN
Position Description:
- The highly skilled and motivated Product Owner will join our development team
- As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional
teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements - Will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
- Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the priorities and requirements of the business
- Work closely with development teams to communicate product requirements and provide guidance throughout the development process
- Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product-related artifacts
- Conduct regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings with development teams
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions, clarifications, and feedback
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- MUST be a US Citizen
- Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
