TRISTAR is an Software Product Owner for our upcoming government customer in Bloomington, IN

Position Description:

• The highly skilled and motivated Product Owner will join our development team
• As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our products by collaborating with cross-functional
  teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
• Will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers while aligning with the company's strategic objectives

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives
• Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the priorities and requirements of the business
• Work closely with development teams to communicate product requirements and provide guidance throughout the development process
• Define and prioritize user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product-related artifacts
• Conduct regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings with development teams
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions, clarifications, and feedback
• Monitor and analyze key metrics to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• IAT level II certification with DoD 8570 (Example CompTIA Security Plus) or willingness to obtain prior to start date
