Business Analyst 2

Orlans PC is a family of law firms and real property focused companies offering sophisticated products and services through highly efficient processes, innovative technology and skilled team members.

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to grow our expanding team.  The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the business by analyzing and mapping business processes, facilitating process improvements and performing such work as necessary to support business initiatives relating to projects and/or project management.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather and write business requirements
• Act as a liaison between business and technology teams Required and Preferred Knowledge
• Work closely with other members of IT Department to assist with project implementations
• Assist with defect and project management
• Troubleshoot and assist with production issues and resolve when possible
• Create test strategies, test cases and conducts testing
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required and Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related work experience
• Minimum of one to three years of work experience in one of the following areas: Business/Process Analysis
• Balances priorities and manages workload effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume office
• Position requires above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
• Effectively communicate with all levels of internal clients
• Work closely with team as well as independently
• Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required.
• Dedicated to team building, establishes and maintenance of Software Development Lifecycle (SLDC)
• Effectively communicates both verbally and non-verbally and strong technical skills
• Mortgage Default or title experience preferred
