YOUR ROLE
The Time keeping Systems and Process Expert will primarily focus on managing the UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly UKG Dimensions) application which includes managing the UKG environment, implementing new capabilities, configuring pay, attendance, and leave rules, coordinating integration with the payroll and other systems, and creating new reports/data views. This role will be a subject matter expert on all aspects of the UKG Pro Workforce Management to improve business processes, improve workforce productivity and enhance day-to-day operations. In addition, this role will be responsible for resolving day-to-day technical issues and managing user security.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Strategize and Lead Kronos / Timekeeper requirements timecard maintenance and backend system support including Payroll or third-party tools that manage time processes
- Troubleshoot incorrect setup of employees and manage related integration error handling.
- Create and set up new entities within CEVA (including job codes, pay and accrual codes, location codes, contracts, pay groups), utilizing standardized protocols.
- Work closely with management, HRIS staff and other cross functional teams to introduce and roll-out new functionality relevant to Ceva’s business needs.
- Serve as liaison to other HR areas and systems to understand requests for information, respond to support tickets and extract and distribute reports.
- Strong adherence to sensitivity and confidentiality in maintaining HR data.
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing and validating processes and data flows.
- Understand company policies to document HRIS work instructions and procedures.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular maintenance and system audits.
- Recommend and implement new and improved processes to reduce redundancies and manual work and automate functions where possible. Maintains detailed knowledge of UKG product suite with an awareness of opportunities to expand solutions and services.
- Manage UKG Pro Workforce Management integration with payroll and other analytics systems.
- Configure and maintain business structures, data views, control center, timekeeping, user access, pay rules, basic scheduling, absence management and accruals.
- Test fixes to ensure an incident has been adequately resolved.
- Troubleshooting time clocks and configurations.
- Write clear, concise, well-organized technical documentation to maintain standards and procedures.
- Work with leaders and end-users to identify new opportunities and rollout new functionalities to improve productivity.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field is or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of UKG Pro Workforce Management HRIS / HR experience.
- Prior experience with HR Systems: payroll, time & attendance, an HCM e.g., Success Factors.
- Strong experience with MS Excel, data analysis and reporting, including data collection, data entry, retrieval, analytics, and reporting based upon HR needs.
- Five (5) years related experience is required.
- Experience with labor categories, attendance and leave policies, shift premiums and patterns, and assignment profiles.
- In-depth knowledge of standard UKG clock configuration and setup.
- Knowledge of advanced scheduling concepts within UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly UKG Dimensions)
- Understanding of integration between UKG and other HRIS & Business applications.
