Operator, Saw 1 (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities: 

• Ensures cut orders maintain planned schedule in order to achieve on time delivery to internal and external customers.
• Receives and inspects incoming raw material and produces a quality product with attention to detail.
• Responsible for picking, cutting, kitting, and serialization of material to be delivered to internal business units.
• Inspect cut pieces and perform required quality checks.
• Forklift Driving is required to complete the assignments.
• Reads and interprets work orders and blueprints.
• Works on projects simultaneously to maximize production efforts and eliminate down time.
• Actively engages in safety of self and others within the facility, including holding internal customers and contractors responsible for best in class safety.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Works with trade personnel and maintenance departments to sustain optimal productivity.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area with attention to quality and safety standards.
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Follows directions of immediate supervisor and functional lead to complete daily tasks.
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 1 Year of forklift driving experience 
• High School Diploma or GED
• Should be able to speak, read and write basic English language. 
• Should be able to do basic Mathematical calculations
• This position works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

The base hourly pay range for this position is $21.60- $22.80. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
