Opportunity:


The Risk and Safety Leader is a critical role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Ideatek's comprehensive risk management and safety programs. This position ensures the organization's compliance with all applicable safety regulations, mitigates potential risks, and fosters a culture of safety throughout the company. The Risk and Safety Leader will work closely with all departments to identify and address hazards, implement safety protocols, and continuously improve safety performance.


Location: This position will be hybrid - with expected travel to various work locations as needed.


Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks across all areas of the business.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Monitor and report on risk management performance quarterly.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of risk assessments and mitigation plans.

Safety Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive safety program that complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and correct hazards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and reports.
  • Creates key quarterly measures for indication of success in program
  • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Lead and manage the company's safety committee.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

  • Stay up-to-date on all applicable safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Represent the company in interactions with regulatory agencies.

Culture and Leadership:

  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees on safety matters.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to safety.
  • Work with all departments to ensure that safety is integrated into all business processes.

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in risk management and safety program management.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful safety programs.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience within the telecommunications or construction field is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in safety m
