SkyWater Technology is searching for a Device Integration Senior Staff Engineer for our Bloomington, MN site to drive device centering activities on 90nm technologies.
Responsibilities:
Working with external and internal groups on the development of 90nm process flows at SkyWater you will:
• Lead new device development, integration, and transfer in a manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate activities with process & modeling engineers to optimize device performance and margin control.
• Define and implement process experiments and module characterization.
• Analyze electrical test data to refine device specifications.
• Lead Structured Problem Solving meetings to resolve technology issues.
• Analyze and report results of process module experiments to the team through program review meetings.
• Interpret results from physical failure analysis and electrical test data.
• Actively drive the qualification milestones for process integration improvements.
• Interface with Customers on technical requests and challenges.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors & Masters in an Engineering discipline, or PhD in in Electrical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or other relevant discipline.
• 7-12 years of experience (Bachelors & Masters) or 2-3 years (PhD)
• Demonstrated knowledge of semiconductor process/fabrication and device characterization
• Demonstrated experience of process module engineering, new device development, and process control
• Work effectively as a team member with people from other groups
• Ability to extract, organize and analyze data (both electrical and physical)
• Working Knowledge with statistical analysis tools, DOEs, and SPC
• Able to communicate technical data and results to program leaders and managers
• Self-motivated with a drive to solve problems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with CMOS logic and analog devices
• Background in device characterization and modeling
• Education: PhD in an Engineering discipline.
• Project Management skills and/or defined training.
US Citizenship Required: This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.


The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
