Principal Product Manager, Insurance

Job Description

Over the past 20 years, Procore has built the leading construction management platform globally. The results are safer and more predictable projects. We are now looking to leverage our massive data set and direct access to build the future of construction insurance. 

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager to own everything for Procore Risk Advisors, our embedded insurance strategy. You’ll lead initiatives to modernize the insurance brokerage experience by making comparing, purchasing, and managing insurance frictionless for builders. You will also work closely with engineering, design, users, and cross-functional stakeholders to discover and execute problems for our customers. 

This position can work remotely from any U.S location or flexibly from our Carpinteria, CA or Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Development and ownership of the insurance brokerage product strategy and roadmap
• Impact analysis, both quantitatively and qualitatively, of new features and products against tangible business outcomes. Surface these to the team and be both a voice of the customer and internal stakeholders 
• Drive the success of core business objectives, and break them down into projects and problems that can be prioritized and executed against
• Collaborate across teams, such as writing product documentation, partnering with engineering, participating in design crit, and testing and reviewing concepts with customers or underwriters
• Work with the sales and marketing team to keep them ahead of the curve on new features while also understanding feedback they see daily and how to prioritize it into the broader roadmap

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience building software as a Product Manager
• Passion for financial technology
• Empathy for users and the ability to discover and enable better outcomes for them
• Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
• History of shipping high-quality product experiences alongside software engineers and designers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and move fast in an evolving work environment 

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $173,600-$238,700. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
