Senior IT Project Manager

RKD Group, a leading direct response marketing and advertising agency, is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to drive innovative, impactful results. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing complex technology projects within the company’s project lifecycle. You’ll work closely with teams across IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure that projects are executed smoothly from start to finish. This role requires a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and product management to effectively collaborate with the Salesforce Product Owner. Your role will be key to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

You’ll utilize your organizational expertise, leadership, and negotiation skills to anticipate project risks and deliver successful outcomes. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and you’ll be a problem-solver who enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply project management best practices and RKD’s methodology to guide projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop and manage project schedules, define dependencies, and ensure critical path activities are met.
• Actively identify and mitigate project risks, communicating remediation strategies to senior leadership when necessary.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure project deadlines are met while resolving conflicts between competing priorities.
• Lead project status meetings, providing clear, concise updates on timelines, budgets, and any project-related issues.
• Facilitate executive-level steering committees and project retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to maintain momentum and ensure project success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of managing enterprise-wide application implementations (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in project scheduling and scope management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 LOCATION: Remote 

Pay Range expected for the position: $100,000 - $115,000 annually.
