Sigma Defense is seeking a sea-launched attack missile exercises (SLAMEX)/Tomahawk land attack missile (TLAM) exercise Program Support to perform work in Damn Neck - Virginia Beach, VA.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Training SME with knowledge gained over years of experience at senior levels. They promote greater information sharing for staffs and stakeholders. They provide realistic as well as reliable, consistent support and well-developed recommendations to various audiences in training and real world events. They will maintain the integrity of the training objectives and maintain a knowledge base that is consistent with the requirements that covers the full spectrum of tasks listed in the contract. SMEs serve as the catalyst for developing and evaluating requirements. They provide the expertise and insight to support programs and leaders at all levels, including very senior levels, civilian and military sectors. They are experienced subject matter experts in their fields of expertise
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the following:
- TLAM program including involvement in all major phases of TLAM training events (Phases I thru III).
- SG or NFC or equivalent involving TLAM training.
- 2 years of experience as JSAF operator.
- 8 years of relevant experience in the following:
- Subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s), Program or Policy support).
- Training manager.
- Developing training curriculums.
- Conducting fleet/ joint training assessments to identify gaps, training needs and solutions.
- Delivering training in person and/or online.
- Developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios.
- Managing training projects 8. Team and/or project leader.
- Designing custom training to meet training objectives.
- Public speaker and presentation skills.
- Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level.
- Handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
- 10 years of experience is required if no degree is held.
- Equivalent to a degree is two years of Resource Band experience.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance or higher.
- A TS/SCI is required for this position.
- A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
Support Tasks:
- Develop scenario scripts for SLAMEX and all other TLAM-related distributed training exercises.
- Receive unit exercise participation requests and consolidate the participation or "player" list.
- Tailor exercise scenarios to include TLAM targets and missions to achieve participants' NMETL training objectives in accordance with ships force readiness manual (SFRM) and FRTP requirements and exercise guidance provided via a government furnished information (GFI) planning document or staff event planning meeting.
- Review and incorporate TLAM strike warfare principles, doctrine and policy, fleet commanders' guidance, current operational trends, previous SLAMEX and TLAM exercise lessons learned into scenario scripts.
- Produce the Tomahawk command information (TCI) including the strike package and transmit to participants via MDS.
- Identify and submit IP addresses for exercise participant system access through the TTGL network firewall.
- Provide FST planning support for FST events (FST-GC, FST-J, etc.), in addition to TLAM planning and scenario development described above to include:
- Modify TLAM training and related products to conform within the objectives of the FST event.
- Recommend TLAM training objectives, missions, target requirements and TLAM scenario timeline. <
