RH is seeking an Inventory and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and properly storing raw materials, while ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained throughout the system. This role is based in our Joseph Jeup manufacturing location in Grand Rapids, MI.

RH is seeking an Inventory and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and properly storing raw materials, while ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained throughout the system. This role is based in our Joseph Jeup manufacturing location in Grand Rapids, MI.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare finished goods for shipment and assist with moving materials and products from inventory to the shop floor and throughout the production area
- Create and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Inspect all incoming shipments for correct quantities, quality and measurement defined by Quality Standard Documents
- Monitor and report issues related to incoming inspections, and collaborate with the Inventory Lead and Purchasing to drive continuous improvement in incoming material quality
- Ensure timely storage of incoming materials and manage daily movement of products between work centers, delivering and stocking parts and supplies in alignment with the production schedule
- Perform ERP transactions to update and maintain accurate system inventory
- Use of a forklift to load and unload trucks as required
- Accuracy and strong discipline to process
- Experience with ERP software and inventory control preferred; strong technical capacity and proficiency with ERP systems and standard computer tools required
- Prioritize responsibilities, organize tasks and follow through to completion
- Skilled in identifying and solving problems within team environments, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication
- High school diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum
- Hi-lo / Powered Industrial truck experience preferred
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office Applications
- Continuously pursue excellence through attention to detail, dedication to superior quality, continuous improvement, and passion for the product
- Frequently moving and lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and bending
- Occasionally work in a high noise space, where PPE is required
- Spends time in a manufacturing environment
