Purpose of the role:

 

•“Right hand” and backup for the Country MD, ensuring budget delivery and compliance. •Ensuring the defined Local & Group Finance governance and duties are performed and met. •Ensure the Opco adheres to local laws and standards (incl. local GAAP) and Leviat Group requirements (FP&A cycle, compliance/ SOX, risk management, …). •Accountable for correct and timely reporting •Co-ordinates the support of the local team (KPI’s, customer risk management, cost efficiencies etc..)  

Key tasks & responsibilities:

 

• Strategic financial leadership - Leads the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes for the country. And, after development, drives the execution of these plans, together with Country MD.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance – responsible for local Finance, tax & treasury which includes:
  • Overseeing and preparing of financial statements and other reporting requirements
  • Compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Managing audits and liaising with both internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Cost Control & Operational Efficiency – including production cost analysis, identifying and supporting continuous improvement programs etc.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
• Investment & Capital Expenditure Oversight – reviewing applications, assessing make v buy. Lead any financial due diligence for M&A processes
