Pastry Chef - Citywide (Caesars Forum LV)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Pastry Chef oversees all aspects of the baking and finishing of product for the food outlets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

• Train employees to understand the basics of bakery.
• Train employees to maintain the quality that has been established.
• Oversee production to maintain pars that are in line with business.
• Evaluate employees on their 90 day and annual evaluations dates.
• Order all direct items as needed in production.
• Maintain an orderly and clean bake shop.
• Help in production of Banquets and daily business.
• Take cake/bread orders if needed.
• Finish Birthday and Wedding cakes if needed.
• Make ice cream for business if needed.
• Make Chocolate decoration if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to speak and read English / Bi-lingual a plus.
• Able to build team atmosphere.
• Able to motivate individuals.
• Able to make decisions based on experience that will be best for the company.
