The Production Manager manages the fabrication team responsible for fabricating and assembling pollution control systems for industrial applications. This position is a lead role for all activities at the fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will encourage a safe and positive work environment while continuously improving shop operations and personnel skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Supervise shop floor personnel throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage a diverse production workforce consisting of welders, fitters, hand skill employees, and laborers.
• Ensure full utilization of equipment, materials, and personnel to achieve maximum output.
• Coordinate with Project Management to meet customer demands, budget and schedule.
• Responsible for developing and meeting all key manufacturing metrics related to production, quality, schedule and Environmental Health and Safety.
• Read and comprehend fabrication drawings and bill of materials. Effectively distribute related tasks to team. Open drawings in CAD and BOMs. Perform performing minor modifications and /or retrieve pertinent information from document(s).
• Manage and lead safety program for shop personnel, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure that day-to-day transactions of inventory, factory orders and routings are completed with accuracy.
• Purchase shop consumables, miscellaneous hardware, and specific services necessary for shop operations and compliance.
• Review, approve and manage daily time sheets and manage personnel PTO.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Business Management and/or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program, or commensurate on-the-job experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in personnel management related to metal fabrication, processing and welding stainless steel and carbon steel.
• Computer efficiency, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), CAD, ERP systems (D365), ADP, Concur.
• Detail-oriented with strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to solve problems in a thoughtful and timely manner.
• Approachable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with fabrication of tanks, piping systems, skids.
• Clear understanding of AWS and ASME welding codes as well as ability to develop and maintain WPS, PQR and Welder Certification qualifications.
• Experience with electrical and wiring components on skid to electrical enclosure desired including familiarity with PLCs and HMIs.
• Working knowledge for safe operation and maintenance of typical metal shop tools and machinery including but not limited to: grinder, drill, band saw, lathe, shear, press brake, sandblast, paint booth, welding machines, fork lifts, air compressors.
• Familiarity with LEAN principles and capable of maintaining and implement processes for improvements.
