Loss Prevention Guard 2nd Shift

BuzzBallz, LLC is looking for a Loss Prevention Guard - 2nd shift from 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience in observing and monitoring conditions, objects and/or persons which might require security action. Also, the ability to respond per established policies, procedures, and regulations.

BuzzBallz is a woman-owned alcohol brand founded by Merrilee Kick in 2009 and is in Carrollton, Texas. BuzzBallz produces a wide variety of ready to drink cocktails.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts foot and vehicle security patrols of company buildings and grounds. Observes and monitors conditions, objects, or persons which might require security action. 
• Monitors camera surveillance systems. 
• Reports all safety, security, and law violations.
• Enforces all traffic and parking regulations on company property. Ensures that all fire and bus lanes are kept clear. Directs traffic and controls parking and lot access.
• Responds to security calls for service. 
• Investigates incidents and accidents. Gathers information and evidence. Notifies appropriate authorities or superiors and calls for back-up assistance as necessary.
• Responds to all fire calls as a member of the team. Checks fire extinguishers and fire prevention activities during patrols. Extinguishes fires or directs fire personnel and equipment to the proper locations.
• Prepares and submits reports and logs of all incidents, investigations, and activities by the end of shift. 
• This position can vary from 8 to 12 hours, 2nd shift (night). 
• Work generally has standard procedures and instructions, but the incumbent must organize work and set priorities.
• Assists department and company by performing duties that provide a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma is required.
• Approximately one to two years of progressively more responsible job-related experience.
• Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused
• Proactive-- competitive and growth-oriented
• Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative Security team
• Military: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security officer: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bi-lingual (Preferred but not required)
• Job requires some problem-solving. In most cases, the problems are straightforward.
