About the role

At AGL Bayswater in the Upper Hunter of NSW, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Trade Qualification in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

AGL Bayswater’s 2026 Apprentice Program intake has 5 positions available, and we encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples to apply.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • Completion of Year 10 or equivalent by the end of 2026.

  • Demonstrated interest in your nominated trade.

  • Strong commitment to safety.

  • Reliable transport and driver's license (no public transport to AGL Macquarie).
