Purpose

Seeking a law student research assistant to support work in constitutional law, tort law, and civil procedure, averaging 5–10 hours per week. The role involves legal research and related academic support tasks for Professor Ronen Avraham.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research in the areas of constitutional law and civil procedure.

  • Review and summarize case law, statutes, and secondary sources.

  • Assist with drafting, editing, and citation checking for scholarly materials.

Required Qualifications

Salary Range

$19 per hour (1L, 2L)
$21 per hour (3L, LLM)

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard

  • Work may be performed at the Law School or remotely at supervisor discretion

Work Schedule

  • Must be available to work 5-10 of hours per week

  • Position begins on April 6th and ends on August 3rd

  • Most work can be completed independently on a schedule that the employee determines with oversight and direction regarding deadlines and deliverables
