The Opportunity

"The myFICO engineering team builds web applications for FICO Scores consumer-facing business. We spend a lot of time building delightful customer experiences on mobile apps, responsive web on the AWS cloud, backed by loads of automation, monitoring and strong cyber-security measures."  - Vice President, Software Engineering.

What You'll Contribute

• Design, code, test, deploy, and own scalable microservices.

• Participate heavily in design and code reviews.

• Interact regularly with product management, InfoSec.

• Optimize performance and scalability as necessary.

• Be part of a lean, self-governing engineering team.

What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related disciplines.

• Experience with a variety of languages/frameworks such as Java, Python, RESTful services, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, AWS.

• Experience with e-Commerce or customer facing business where code is moved into production multiple times daily is preferred.

• Strong background with modern technology stacks, microservices, cloud architectures.

• Strong grasp of design patterns, coding best practices and be able to write unit-testable code.

• Experience with android/mobile application development.

• Knowledge of databases, SQL/NoSQL architectures.

• Familiarity with encryption, Information security best practices.

• The targeted base pay range for this role is: $105,000 to $165,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
