OPS ARCHIVES ASSISTANT (Cultural Resources Specialist) (37970624)

The Florida Park Service is looking for an individual with a solid background in historic resources who wants to join a team dedicated to preserving Florida’s cultural heritage. Florida State Parks span the entire state with 175 state parks and trails, the only state park system in the United States to be recognized four times with the gold medal award.

The Division of Recreation and Parks is responsible for the promotion of the state park system for the use, enjoyment, and benefit of the people of Florida and its visitors and to contribute to the tourist appeal of Florida. Your Specific Responsibilities:

Provides consultation services to parks, districts, and other bureaus in the areas of collections and archive management including inventory, accession standards and related topics.

 

Oversees all Florida Park Service collections and archives including the management of the central collection and archives.
