PROJECT & FLOOR TECHNICIAN

Monday - Friday | Full-Time Evenings
💲 $16/hour | 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM | No Weekends

Looking for a hands-on role where you can apply your trade skills while learning a new craft? As a Floor Technician with us, you’ll start by working alongside one or more experienced Project Technicians who will teach you the ropes on stripping, cleaning, and waxing vinyl floors (VCT). You'll also gain experience working with carpets, tile, and concrete surfaces, offering variety and challenge. Your work is completed off-site for a variety of clients, so driving company vehicles is an essential part of the role.

What the work involves:
Start at our home office to prepare and load the van for the evening’s job.

• Perform physical tasks both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Develop expertise in stripping, waxing, and maintaining different types of flooring.

About the Role:
Our Project Division supports a wide range of clients, from Virginia Beach to Williamsburg, focusing on specialty cleaning jobs. You'll be trusted to work independently or as part of a dynamic team.

This role is perfect for someone who:
Enjoys hands-on work

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Has previous experience as a Custodian or Floor Technician

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted regularly
• Comfortable climbing stairs, bending, and standing for extended periods
