About this Role
As our Digital Customer Growth - SEO Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing the organic search landscape to find opportunities to drive quality traffic to our digital properties. You will work closely with the marketing, media, data analytics, and product development teams to identify strategies and optimizations that improve search rankings, increasing qualified traffic and sales. This role requires a blend of technical, creative, and analytical skills to effectively enhance our web presence and contribute to overall business growth.

The Digital Customer Growth Business Team is accountable for driving sustainable growth by deeply understanding and championing our customers, captivating them with compelling products, services, and experiences, and building a culturally relevant and beloved brand. We pride ourselves in continuously striving to embody expertise, simplicity, and inspiration in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recommend technical SEO improvements from robots.txt files, XML sitemaps, canonical and hreflang tags, schema markup, and more
- From these recommendations, develop and prioritize the technical SEO roadmap to make a best-in-class experience for users and search engines
- Lead ongoing research of the search landscape to identify opportunities on our site, competitive gaps, and other indirect opportunities to maximize search visibility.
- Informed by this perspective, drive the content strategy based to capture customer and prospect search behaviors for our partners across blog, production, and video
- Build and deepen relationships with key partners to educate and apply SEO best practices across the organization
- Provide business understanding of products and architecture that help promote SEO opportunities or avoid conflicts with stakeholders/page-owner strategies
- Submit requests for updates on digital platforms using various tools and intakes. Performs stakeholder functionality for QA and communication.
- Review completed work and refine to align with business goals and avoid conflicts
- Stay up-to-date on emerging search technologies and platforms including Generative AI and search-augmented LLMs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in roles directly managing SEO strategy & execution
- Highly proficient with Excel - advanced knowledge of formulas/functions/pivot tables
- Expert with SEO tools (SEMrush/Ahrefs/Brightedge/Conductor/SimilarWeb)
- Fluent in digital analytics platforms - Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics
- Proficient with Technical SEO tools/crawling software - Screaming Frog/Deep Crawl
- Strong knowledge of SEO and its core disciplines (technical site analysis, content optimization) and SEO keyword research
- Extensive experience with content strategy development and management, either directly or in a consultative/collaborative role
Our Digital Customer Growth - SEO Manager earn between $143,800 - $215,800 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
