Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the successful, proactive daily operation of export and import, sea/air and heavy haul freight forwarding activities
• Supervise the loading and discharging cargo operation at port of loading or/and port of discharging as well as at jobsite/factories/workshops, etc.
• Receive booking from agents or clients, prepare quotation for clients and follow up with them
• Conduct freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents for all modes of transportation, to ensure price competitiveness and profitability
• Follow up with operation & subcontractors until the shipment delivered to customers
  
• Assist with preparation of RFQ and Bid Tender Responses
• Together with Managing Director and Regional QHSES, to take good care all local QHSES issues of the office
  

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

• Successfully completed university degree in a related field 
• Some years of Freight Forwarding experience preferred
• Multitasking Skills – Able to handle various assignments
  
• Focus – Pay attention to the customer’s needs and commit to exceeding them
• These qualities characterize you: organized, results-driven, assertiveness, the ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Excellent communications skills in English
