Epic Business Intelligence Developer

As an Epic Business Intelligence Developer (BID) II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced business intelligence solutions to support our data analysis needs. Primary focus will be on utilizing Epic's data model, tools, and reporting capabilities to deliver actionable insights and analytics to support decision-making processes across the organization.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Remote
• Day shift | 8-hour shifts

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $85,081.93 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
• Salary range:  $85,081.93 - $127,697.70 per year
  • Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of education 
• Experience with Epic software is preferred
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Scientist in the healthcare industry preferred. This includes experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL tools
• Extensive experience with Epic SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench, and Radar Dashboards preferred. This includes a deep understanding of these tools and the ability to leverage them to meet business needs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy to all levels of audiences preferred
• Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, or other query languages preferred, and familiar with relational and dimensional data modeling concepts and techniques
• At least one of the following: Epic Access Data Model Certification, Epic Clinical Data Model Certification, or Epic Revenue Data Model Certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
