Job Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the development and enhancement of our global marketing websites. As a key member of our creative and results-driven team, you will collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and digital marketers to elevate our web presence. Your primary responsibilities will include working on both front-end and back-end development within Drupal environments, participating in quality assurance (QA) processes, and contributing to our agile workflow through our Kanban sprint methodology. 


 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and integrate reusable patterns into our Drupal site, enhancing the overall design and user experience. 

• Engage in the web development lifecycle, crafting features and enhancements using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS within Drupal environments. 

• Implement and manage web analytics solutions, such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, to track and report on website performance. 

• Create comprehensive test cases and maintain detailed documentation for all development work to ensure quality and efficiency. 

 

Education, Experience & Training Required: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BSCS) or equivalent practical experience. 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience of Drupal Web development. 

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving work conditions and project requirements. 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. 

• Strong analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. 

• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in presenting technical information effectively. 

• Must be able to pass a background check successfully. 

 

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills Required: 

• Proficient understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience in Agile methodologies. 

• Advanced PHP and Drupal API expertise for module and theme development. 

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Twig for responsive theme creation. 

• Experience with Drupal site building and configuration management. 

• Proficiency in Git for version control. 

• Knowledge of MySQL and Drupal's database abstraction layer. 

• Familiarity with security best practices in Drupal development. 

• Skills in performance optimization, including caching strategies. 

• Ability to integrate third-party APIs and web services with Drupal. 

• Understanding of Acquia Site Factory for multisite management. 

• Experience with RESTful web services and JSON for headless Drupal applications.
