Operations Analyst

Overview:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Summary:

Provide Corporate Business Office at NSWCDD with program management support.

Education and Experience:

• Seven (7) years of experience in operational research and analysis management of large organizations
• Research and analysis experience to include use of personnel, equipment, resource allocation, money, strategic planning, forecasting, and data bases covering large areas

Essential Duties:

• Provide Corporate Business Office with program management support for coordinating tasking; developing and maintaining tools, documentation, processes and other resources; performing information and data analysis and reporting
• Provide NSWC Dahlgren Division Subject Matter Experts with guidance, clarification, transactional knowledge and resolutions to support daily business operations in the areas of Corporate Planning, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), metrics, analysis, Records Management, Forms and Directives, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Integrated Budget Planning and Execution System (IBPES), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), and other business functions

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

• Proficient in word processing applications, Microsoft Suite, and automated database systems
