Our Wetzel County Landfill, located in New Martinsville, WV, is currently searching for a Site Foreman!

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation at the disposal site and supervision of all disposal site employees.
• Evaluate needs and coordinate with the General Manager for all support materials for daily operations to ensure needs are met.
• Complete the Daily Disposal Checklist form and all other paperwork as necessary.
• Monitor daily progress of construction projects and report status to General Manager.
• Supervise assigned personnel and outside contractors working on projects.
• Oversee the Spotter and ensure they are briefed on any issues and prepared to assume duties in the Foreman’s absence.
• May be required to drive vehicles for which properly trained and qualified.
• Special projects and other job duties as assigned.
   

You Have/Are:

• Active, valid Driver’s License
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of and experience in operating heavy equipment or properly trained and authorized by landfill manager.
• Ability to effectively deal with customers and co-workers.
• Requires a high degree of attention to detail, organization and follow-up.
• Ability to stand and sit in the cab of a truck for long periods.  Able to bend, stoop, and climb into and out of vehicles unassisted.   
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
