The opportunity
Join our global HW R&D team as a Project Lead and take the lead in hardware development projects for innovative modules for our IED products. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that schedules, costs, scope, and quality objectives are met, while collaborating closely with development and manufacturing partners. You will also represent the project in governance forums, set realistic objectives together with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in our lifecycle processes within an agile team environment.
How you’ll make an impact
- Plan, track, and report on scope, schedule, cost, and quality; present progress and decisions in Steering Committees and Change Control Boards.
- Build and maintain productive supplier partnerships, fostering transparent collaboration and delivery.
- Perform effort and cost estimations; schedule work based on resource availability and task dependencies.
- Proactively analyze, document, and mitigate technical and organizational risks.
- Approve key project deliverables (documents, baselines) and hand over results to the program or higher‑level product Release projects.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to introduce new modules to the factory.
- Collaborate tightly with Program Managers, HW Systems Engineers, embedded SW Developers, Type Test Engineers, and peer Project Managers to ensure constant, relevant information flow.
- Operate productively in cross‑functional, cross‑organizational teams; represent the HW team and its work products to stakeholders; be accountable for development cost, speed, and production quality in an agile setup.
Your background
- B.S. or M.S. in Electronics Engineering (or related), with formal project management qualification and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience in industrial and/or energy domains.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English.
- Comfortable working in agile environments
