Full-time Faculty and Program Director for Cybersecurity, Computer Science and Data Analytics

About the Job

The full-time faculty and program director for cybersecurity, computer science and data analytics, for the School of Business and Technology is responsible to the Dean of Business and Technology in the performance of all instructional and administrative responsibilities assigned. The program director and faculty member is committed to academic excellence in all areas of teaching and learning including theory and application. The program director oversees the graduate and undergraduate cybersecurity, computer science and data analytics programs including program review and assessment, course development and evaluation; curriculum development, evaluation and revision; student admissions questions; and evaluation of student achievement including formative and summative evaluation. The program director and faculty member effectively participates in the affairs of the school, and provides professional leadership in the university and greater community. This role also includes oversight and all pertaining responsibilities to manage the Center for Academic Excellence for Cyber Defense. The program director and full-time online faculty member holds academic rank dependent upon credentials and experience. The College of Adult and Graduate Studies operates year-round with a Fall, Spring and Summer semester. The program director and faculty member will also have a teaching load in each semester.

1.   A doctorate in computer science or equivalent terminal degree preferred; strong industry experience in a technical field may be considered in lieu of a terminal degree.
2.   At least two years of full-time online teaching experience in a baccalaureate or graduate degree   program.
3.   Demonstrated knowledge and skills related to the teaching of adults, teaching methodology,  curriculum development, and curriculum evaluation.
4.  Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint
