Minimum Qualifications:

 

2 years of direct professional experience in an administrative support position. An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of administrative experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

 

Applicants having skill in the use of personal computers and MS Office Suite are highly desired. Duties require strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow up and meet deadlines. Applicants having administrative or clerical experience with the State of Florida's P-Card system and records management, are encouraged to apply and may be given preference. 

 

One or more years of experience working with Fleetwave, MyFloridaMarketPlace, State of Florida’s People First system FLAIR, and Works (BoA).

 

General knowledge and/or experience of fleet management, preventative maintenance/auto mechanics, and property record handling are highly preferred.

 

Requirements:

 

Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory Level 1 background check at no cost to the candidate. 
 

Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

 

Must have a valid driver's license.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Provides high-level administrative support by performing general administrative and clerical functions, assisting staff, and handling information requests for the Fisheries Dependent Monitoring (FDM) subsection.

Act as a liaison with other FWC, FWRI, and corporative partners.

Thoroughly understanding and adhering to the rules, regulations, policies and procedures related to the purchase of commodities and services on behalf of the State of Florida.

Manage the purchasing and distribution of perquisites to all FDM employees.

Organizing and maintaining current records, reports, receipts, and documentation.

Act as FDMs timekeeper and manage the employee database.

Assist with FDM’s annual meeting and MarineQuest.
