Patient Accounts Supervisor - HIMG CBO (Full Time) - 7302

St. Mary's Medical Center at HIMG is seeking a Patient Accounts Supervisor who is primarily concerned with the coordination and supervision of the billing and third-party collection operation as well as also being responsible for maintaining current knowledge of third-party reimbursement procedures and collection regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

High School graduate with broad proven practical experience in accounts receivable management, in the healthcare field.  BS in Business preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Four to six years of office management and healthcare accounts receivable experience, two years in a supervisory position required. 

SKILLS:

Must be able to supervise and coordinate the billing and collection operation of patient accounts.  Must have oral and written communications ability to deal with other institution departments and to train and supervise personnel.  Familiarity with data processing capabilities and procedures is strongly preferred.  Must have window system skills.  Must have the ability to perform a variety of duties, ranging from direct involvement in various procedures to coordination of activities of many subordinates.
