Job Details:
Purpose
Under supervision of the study coordinator and/or manager, the Research Associate I will support clinical investigators with projects in for the Department of Internal Medicine. Responsibilities may include participant recruitment/consent/interviews, data collection, and data entry, organizing collected information, records management, and communicating with team members on the status of projects.
Responsibilities
Patient recruitment, consent, data collection and interviews.
Data entry, records management, other tasks as assigned.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field and some research experience in internal medicine or related discipline. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in implementing project goals. Ability to use computer equipment and tablets and learn new computer software/programs. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in biomedical or health services research. Experience in an academic health center or clinical setting. Experience working for or with health care and/or community-based organization. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in implementing project goals. Bilingual English/Spanish.
Salary Range
$40,000 + depending on qualifications

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
