Valmet has developed digital services and products to boost the performance of the Valmet Tissue mill assets. Together with our Tissue machinery and process deliveries this forms the strongest offering for tissue making on the market.

We are searching for a person who will lead and develop the team of technical experts in our “Valmet Performance Center”, VPC. The team is digitally connected to our Tissue lines worldwide and is following up process performance and initiating improvements in close cooperation with our customers and our Valmet experts. The role is also responsible for Sales and Marketing of the VPC services as well as the preparation of the offerings for the individual sales cases.   

What we expect from you?

Preferably you should have previous experience of paper/tissue making processes or automation / it solutions for industrial processes. You have a strong interest in digitalization and process analyzes as a tool for improving performance. The work is made closely with customers globally both in sales and service execution, you must be able to cooperate and communicate fluently in a global atmosphere.  You have preferably an academical background with good analytical skills.  The VPC Team of experts is operating in a rapidly changing environment. Your ability to develop and support the team members as well as developing the working methods is crucial.
