Senior UX Designer (Product Design)

How will this role will Serve, Own and Grow at Rev: 

If you are a seasoned user experience designer who has delved deep into using AI (both for your own productivity and in crafting AI solutions in previous roles) we’d like to speak with you! In this role you will lead the charge in developing innovative products to transform how people communicate and capture insight from conversations, files, and meetings.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior UX Designer, you will:

• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to design ideas that can be tested and developed into powerful AI features

• Exercise an experimental mindset by analyzing live interaction data, validating designs through usability testing, and iterating continuously to uncover the most effective solutions for our users

• Design innovative solutions for the dynamic field of automated speech recognition, addressing complex, multi-layered challenges. Focus on creating intuitive, user-friendly designs that simplify and streamline intricate problems

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred

• 5+ years of proven experience as a UX or Product Designer, preferably in the AI space or a similar industry

• A compelling portfolio that demonstrates expertise in crafting detailed, intuitive, and data-driven user interfaces and interactions

• Proficiency in designing and prototyping in Figma

• A strong foundation in user-centered design principles, mobile design patterns, and responsive design

• Experience conducting user research (moderated and unmoderated) and usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements

• A strong foundation in a usability testing platform (like usabilitytesting.com or Maze)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments

• Familiarity with working with and contributing to a design system

• An understanding of AI technologies, including their capabilities, limitations, and implications for user experience

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences

• A history of successful collaboration across disciplines to achieve project goals
