We need your knowledge as an information security risk specialist to help break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.  

As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll work with DoD clients to discover their cyber risks, understand policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You’ll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs or engineers to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.  

You’ll work on translating security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems. This is your opportunity to take an active role in information security while growing your skills in Information Assurance.

You Have: 

• 6+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity
• 2+ years of experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and maintaining eMASS records and artifacts
• Experience with Nessus file format that contains the list of targets, policies defined by the user, and scan results
• Experience with developing and managing ATO Packages, authorization actions concerning software development and testing, and the interpretation of patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk or overall effectiveness of the enclave’s cybersecurity program
• Experience with evaluating risk analysis in the decision-making process and evaluating proposals to determine if proposed security solutions effectively address enclave requirements, as detailed in solicitation documents
• Knowledge of Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 compliance, RMF, and NIST framework principles, and how these requirements translate to cyber security solutions, processes, configuration implementation, or application requirements
• Knowledge of the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configuration standard consisting of cybersecurity requirements for a specific product
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• CISSP, CISM, CAP, Security+, or CeH certification

Nice If You Have: 

• Knowledge of DoD 8500, AR 25-2, AR 70-1, and DA PAM 70-3 Army Acquisition Implementation 
• Knowledge of the configuration management (CM) of DoD software, including source code, documentation, and fieldable products, and DoD security and program protection and declassification operations 
• Top Secret clearance
• Master's degree
• ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
• Microsoft IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) on Windows 2016 or 2019 Server, Windows 10 MCSE, or equivalent Operating Systems Certification
• Linux Certification
• Cisco Networking Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
