Job Summary

We are seeking an Outpatient Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team in an Acute Care setting in Towson, MD.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides/Lead nutrition services in oncology for a minimum of 70% of workload/responsibilities. Also offers wellness support, which could include areas of cardiac, diabetes, nutrition support, weight management, GI and more. Assesses the nutritional status of patients/residents through documentation in the medical record.
• Fosters teamwork and establishes effective strategies to implement innovative programs which leads to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes
• Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient/resident rights policies
• Participates in patient/resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
