Senior Radiation Therapist

Our partner is looking for a Senior Radiation Therapist to join their Radiation Oncology department in Mission Viejo, CA. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patient care, solving patient-related issues, and providing leadership and supervision to colleagues and students.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient flow of patient care within the Radiation Oncology department.
• Identify and resolve patient problems.
• Teach and supervise co-workers and students.
• Collaborate with other departments within the Cancer Center.
• Seek guidance from supervisors when necessary.
• Assume complete responsibility and accountability with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy upon hire.
• 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred

• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced Radiation Oncology department.
