We are currently seeking a Senior, Material Planner, Vehicle Integration.  This position requires an experienced professional with material planning experience. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
•Work with engineers in systems across the vehicle to collate part needs for validation and coordinate with our supply chain team to ensure those part needs are included in part orders for prototype development •Document bill of material (BoM) by vehicle identification number (VIN) for small-volume prototype/preproduction vehicle builds•Manage and Forecast Engineering Builds in relation to testing bucks and Vin retrofits.  •Be able to manage manual forecasts and track upcoming builds.•Document “as built” record including serial number data and commodity build method/tooling•Manage material demand as mapped to different vehicle configurations •Coordinate material delivery to line with stock room/warehouse, logistics, etc.•Report and coordinate material availability and delivery with supply chain and logistics for future VINs•Document exceptions (using engineering change requests/deviations) for material related build issues•Be able to identify parts by Build Level by using BOMs and CATIA for each repair need and guide techs on needed parts.•Mentor/Lead colleagues as a Senior Planner and train new hires.•Run complex Projects independently with little direction which may include Retrofitting/Upfitting one car release to new program requirements of new level design of car. Requires BOM assessment, change order tracking and parts procurement.•Advise on Retrofit Plans and feasibility with parts availability and cost assessments.•Data reporting to executives and cross functional teams. Must have strong Presentation skills.•Strong Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools to identify BOM changes and help with part changeover during testing cycles.  •Lead meetings with Engineering Teams, PLMs and TPMs for regular vin configuration review and future test plans.•Create Procedures for Engineering Planning for more efficient planning strategies.   

Qualifications:
•Experience managing complex BoMs•Strong skills with Microsoft Office (or similar) tools, strong Excel is a must•Experiencing working with common stockroom/inventory and purchase request tools•Ability and drive to identify and go to the source to solve problems •Experience working closely with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing including understanding relevant processes and reporting methods in each area•New Production Introduction experience•Start Up environment experience
Advantageous:
•4-year degree from accredited university•Smartsheet, JIRA, SAP, CATIA•Experience in Start Up Planning/Procurement is a strong plus•Automotive Planning/Procurement experience
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·       California (Bay Area) - $95,200 - 130,900
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
